5 star Review Wicked Impulse (ALFA Private Investigations #3) by Chelle Bliss An excellent addition to a series I love. Chelle Bliss has been on fire of late and Wicked Impulse is no exception; I loved it from start to finish. It has become my favourite book and you need to read it ASAP. Bear North has intrigued me from the first time I met him, perhaps because he is a silver fox biker and a friend of City’s (whom I adore). He knows Fran DeLuca, as the mother of his friend Morgan and has had occasional naughty thoughts about what he would like to do with and to her. When the feisty woman gets involved in his latest case for ALFA PI it becomes a no holds barred dream come true as Fran morphs into a sexy and foxy MILF and one that Bear cannot help but notice. I love this series, the glimpses of the Gallo family and their friends make it feel as though I am coming home. The obvious camaraderie between Fran and Maria Gallo had me cracking up in parts, I would so love to be friends with these women; they are awesome. Can Bear keep Fran safe whilst ensuring Morgan doesn’t find out about his relationship with his mother? Or will it all fall apart around him? Will Fran help to mend Bear’s tattered heart? The chemistry between Bear and Fran was sizzling, I loved the edgy scenes, and I just loved everything about this book. Chelle Bliss is one author I have yet to meet but I would love to spend a day in her head seeing how she manages to come up time and again with stories that captivate me. Morgan was at times extremely annoying as he tried to run Fran and Bear’s life for them, often forgetting that they were consenting adults, he treated them as children. His distress at times made for an emotional roller-coaster but it was great to see him finally come to terms with Fran and Bear being together and it was obvious to all around them how happy they made each other. Perhaps it is the fact that both Bear and Fran are in their 50’s but I really related to this book on so many levels. I am totally head over heels in love and lust with Bear and want a Bear of my own!! There was danger, romance, amazing chemistry, spine tingling hot sex and humour that had me in tears on occasion. This is a sexy, extremely hot and downright dirty book that I could not put down and I cannot wait for the next release from Ms. Bliss.

I get super excited when I get to place on book on that lonely shelf named "mature adult". So often the choices are limited to 23 to 35 year old cast of characters. I mean the stories are great. But just every once in awhile, I'd like to see someone my age get their HEA. Chelle Bliss delivers with Bear and Fran. If you love fast reads that scorch your panties, then Ms. Bliss is definitely a recommend. And she doesn't disappoint with these two characters 'not-looking-for-love-but-looking-for-a-good-time.' The ALFA team get called to help Fran out of a crappy situation. So along with the hot times between the sheets, you get a suspense story with lots of alpha muscle. Yes, it's part of a series. However, the story stands alone so you don't have to worry about being lost in the character development. But with all the testosterone spilling from the pages, I'm thinking there may be a man or two you'll want to find out about. 4.25 out of 5 stars

The men of Alpha PI are back, and now we get to discover Bear's story. We met Bear clear back in Throttle Me as City's friend. Bear is a very strong, bad ass biker with a little bit of a soft side, he likes to have some fun with the ladies, but suffered some major heartache when his wife passed away in childbirth years earlier. Sweet, track suit wearing Fran is Morgan's mom, but in Wicked Impulse we get to see that Fran has a little bit of a dirty side. I absolutely loved this book. Bear is the sexiest older hero that I've read and Fran cracks me up; put them together and you have an amazing combination of fun, exciting, and sexy as heck. Throw in come excitement and a whole lot of Chell Bliss's special touches and you have a spectacular story that you won't want to miss.
