This is the first book in the Cowboy Creek collection. It will leave you wanting to learn so much more about the characters in this book. I can't wait for the next book in this series. Even though I feel they will all be stand alone novels, the beginning is a great place to start. Cheryl St. John does a great job developing her characters and dialogue. Daniel Gardner is a leader among this newly developed town. He is a handsome, wealthy, loving and caring man. When the last person he expected to see arrives on the 'bride' train, he only wants what is best for her. Will he ever be enough or is what is best be someone else. Leah is trying to find a new start and feels she is out of options except to answer the call for a bride train. When she arrives and finds her two best friends from childhood she is overwhelmed with joy. Will she continue to make poor choices or will she finally be able to open her heart and have a happy marriage. I was given a copy of this novel from net galley for my honest opinion.
