When a reader finds a genre that they sincerely love, stories become all the more lifelike, and the characters become an extension of our family too. Cheyenne McCray’s Riding Tall series charmed me from the very first book and has continued to capture the essence of family values, true devotion and everlasting romance that every die hard, starry-eyed idealist dreams of. Knowing that there was finally another book in this series, made it easy to dive right in and let the story take me to places that only a truly talented author can achieve. Great characters, a fabulous storyline and the hope and anticipation of what will come next, definitely makes the Riding Tall books exceptional. There’s absolutely no doubt that Jayson and Celine will endear themselves to readers and like myself, I’m sure that you will devour this story in one sitting, as Ms McCray’s easy ebb and flow in her writing, makes every one of her stories a pleasure to behold and something we as readers will undoubtedly read time and again. My only regret; the last page has been turned, and I now await the next captivating instalment in this wonderful series.

Celine Northland is a fashion designer with a plan to launch a new line of clothing. Thanks to a bet lost by Jayson McBride, his Arizona ranch is at her disposal for a week. He's not too happy to see all the extraneous people milling about on his property .. models, photographers, etc. They're upsetting his horses and they're upsetting him. He's floored when he meets Celine. She may have been born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but she's not a wilting flower. And she's beautiful, to boot! The attraction is mutual as Celine finds herself falling for the handsome cowboy. But Jayson has a secret .. one that Celine might not be able to live with. And someone is watching Celine with vengeance in mind. And that danger could be a lot closer than she thinks. For romantic suspense with a bit of spice, you can't get any better than this prolific author. The reader can always depend on getting a crisp suspense story line, solid characters, and a fantastic love story. Although this is her latest in this series, this does well as a stand alone.
