Enjoyed - very entertaining story. Love the family bonds; the cowboy ways and in this case the danger and intrigue being "hunted" The possessiveness and the loyalties. well done - defnitely reading more cowboy stories from C McCray's pen!

I didn't like how Zane treated Jessie, the possessiveness and being manhandled, then being told, not asked, told she liked it was very not sexy to me. It seemed kind of sexually abusive and messed up.

Racist and small minded. When there are gunshots, Zane says, "probably illegals running drugs." This is a horrifying way to refer to human beings and ignores the fact that most illegal immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than US citizens.
