As it plays a key role in driving the worlds economy, China needs to tackle challenges of a different sort on the home front. Linda Yeung is a freelance journalist in Hong Kong, and also works part-time as a simultaneous interpreter. Prior to this, she spent more than a decade at the South China Morning Post newspaper, including eight years as a feature writer. She is keenly interested in promoting cross-cultural understanding between East and West.
