About this eBook

When Kal evades the influence of his brain chip, his life is in danger. Can he and the mysterious Amber dismantle the broken society containing them?

Kal is a talented young scientist, and he fits perfectly into chip-regulated society: he's handsome, hard-working, and complacent. But one day, he stumbles across a dangerous discovery. During a routine work test, he catches a glimpse of the world beyond the chip's illusions, and it's disastrous.

Ripped from the certainty of a planned future, Kal is thrust into the chaos of reality. With the help of Amber—a chipless girl with problems of her own—he navigates the new dangers that surround him... and confusing feelings bubbling up inside him.

Together, they do the unthinkable and escape The City.

But Amber is more important to The City than Kal realizes, and the danger relentlessly chases them across territories.

Can Kal and Amber evade capture, take down the tyrannical rule of The City, and embrace their new lives? Or will all be lost before it can begin?

Chipless is a gripping and thought-provoking dystopian science fiction novel perfect for readers seeking a book that will challenge their understanding of society.
