I have read and really enjoyed all of Chris Carter's previous books but this was well below par. A change in the way his book was wrote left me disappointed and the story was predictable, with me guessing what was going to happen long before it did. I hope his next book returns to his previous gripping and exciting writing.

Knocked off a star here as we knew who the killer was at the start of the book. The way he played mind games with the Police was a bit too like 'Silence of the Lambs'. Yes, there were twists l didnt expect, but overall I'd say this was a good book-not brilliant though.

First time reading one of carters books, great story line with some fantastic detail, a little clichéd at times, but I will definitely give some of his other books a read
