About the author

They are well known for their popular science books, among them Field Guide to the Mammals of Southern Africa, Pocket Guide to Mammals of East Africa, Dangerous Creatures of Africa, and Field Guide to the Tracks & Signs of Southern, Central and East African Wildlife. They have also contributed widely to scientific journals and magazines.
