About the author
Chris d'Lacey is a hugely talented children's writer. This is his fourth book for Orchard. He lives in Leicester with his wife, though they also spend a lot of time by the sea in Devon. For many years Chris worked as a scientist at Leicester University, but he has now given up the day-job so he can write full time.
