About the author

Christian Triola is a professional guitar teacher and author of over two dozen popular guitar method books, including The Missing Method for Guitar Note Reading Series and the Guitar Chord Master Series. His books arose out of a need for method books that didn’t already exist for his students, so they address the needs real students have when learning guitar. With over 20 years of experience, he has taught thousands of students to learn guitar so they can play and create music they love. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Jazz Studies), and has played in a variety of bands in addition to his many solo performances. When he’s not teaching or playing guitar, he enjoys writing fiction and hiking the Cuyahoga Valley with his wife, Amy Joy. You can find him on social media and learn more at TheMissingMethod.com.
