A nice change from the heavy sexual pattern most paranormal books use, the story is relatable to people with a tad of magic thrown in, kept me interested enough that I'm going on to read the next book in the series. The descriptions of the people and surroundings draw you in, a good read that leaves you wanting more

I am really enjoying this series. Penny and Isaac are such a cute couple – I do hope that they continue to entertain us with their “witchy and demon” escapes. Penny finds a compass that leads Penny and Isaac on an incredible adventure. The story has not only mystery but also a good dose of romance. As with most of Christine Pope’s books, this book is also difficult to put down.

Cliffhanger alert!!! This is the second installment in the Unexpected Magic series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The romance between Penny and Isaac is progressing in a nice fashion and I am enjoying their journey. Penny continues to deal relocation and relationship challenges as well as her newly found witch talents. All are very entertaining for this reader. The ending was rather abrupt but now I’m eagerly awaiting the next installment Lost and Found releasing in September 2022.
