Skinny Dark Kid is a collection of short stories about an Indian girl who grew up in the 70’s in the city of Hyderabad in India. Besides being skinny and dark, she had other oddities she had to contend with. From the first day at school to the teenage years, she narrates humorous anecdotes of growing up and the life lessons she learnt.
About the author
Chrys Kattirisetti was born and raised in the city of Hyderabad in India. She describes herself as engineer by education, programmer by profession and weird by choice. This is her first book. Chrys loves animals and nature, and often finds herself in the great outdoors across the world. She made it to the Everest Base Camp to face her fear of heights and dived in Great Barrier Reef to face her fear of deep water. She doesn’t call herself an adventurer because she is almost always terrified of the things she did and doesn’t think she might do them again. She changed her mind a few times.
