About the author

Born and raised in South Louisiana, Cil Gregoire moved to Alaska in 1977 seeking adventure. She found it teaching school in the bush, commercial fishing in Bristol Bay and Norton Sound, and building a log cabin in the woods of the upper Susitna Valley where she lived for twenty-five years. “I am fortunate to have experienced so much Alaska has to offer. Make no mistake about it, Anthya’s World is very much an Alaska novel. As a setting, the boundless beauty and natural depth of the Great Land needs no embellishment. The challenge in writing this story was in creating an alternate world that could live up to Alaska’s high standards of wonder, beauty, mystery, and magic.” Cil Gregoire lives and writes in Talkeetna, Alaska.
