too much back-matter. i prefer to make my own choices about what to read next, not having to wade through an author's entire "sample kit" of pricey alternatives. here that is so excessive that,interested though i may have been, i shall simply go read something by someone else....

I enjoyed reading Cinder. Super cool, mechanic syborg chic, who has no idea who she really is. An out of the box Cinderella story. When I first started reading it I didn't know it was a series. I've read all 3 books now, and I can't wait for the 4th book to come out.

The writing style was enjoyable and easy to read...but very very very predictable.... By page 40 or so I was sure what was going on. By the end of the book I was sadly proven correctly. Honestly, I wanted this to be the fantastic book it was supposed to be. But it just wasn't. It was an amazing idea and I was excited to get into the series. But I just couldn't after the first book.
