Patricia Young
This is an outstanding romance. It's supposed to have a bad boy protagonist but he's not at all. He has an "in your face" presentation but his personality is honest, thoughtful, and kind underneath the bluster. She is more restrained in expressing her honesty, more typically feminine, but also thoughtful and kind. She is also more aware of social consequences of her actions and attempts to share that awareness with Sawyer. I appreciated her desire for restraint in approaching sexual activity until she had some idea of who he was. It really gets annoying when these stories have the principals throwing off their clothes when the two parties first meet. It never seems realistic to me. I found his gradual awareness of his attraction remarkably honest, insta-lust yes, instant love, no. Love grows over time. I found it a great read and encourage others who approach life and love with restraint to read this. I believe you'll be pleased.
