About the author

The Shadows Where We Walk is the debut novel from Clare McIvor, who has long held a fascination for storytelling and for the spirit world. As the eldest daughter of Christian ministers, Clare grew up as an active member of her local church and youth group, developing a passion to see young people become all that they can be regardless of the situations and set-backs that surround them.

According to Clare, “In today’s day and age, the pressures that impact young people are incredible. Seeing the spiritual and social dynamics that surround them inspired me to write this book. It’s not just a prophetic novel but an action-packed story about a guy who finds himself caught between two worlds—a guy who could really be any one of us.”

Clare lives in Sale, Australia, with her husband, where she works as a marketing consultant while studying for her Master’s Degree in Communication. She is currently writing her second novel and running a cafe with her business partner.
