About this ebook

USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa invites you back to the small town of Kentbury with this swoony novella where frenemies become lovers and the failed one-night stands might last for more than a season.

Everything is falling apart.

I just got fired—by my father.

My boyfriend decided I wasn’t good enough—during my Grandma’s funeral.

That hot guy I met at the bar—I didn’t get one kiss from him.

All I have left is to start a new life.

But before I embark into the unknown, I head to Kentbury.

Someone has to warn my paternal grandmother that her son wants to leave her destitute.

And who do I find instead?

Tall, hot, and delicious Bishop Harris.

My failed one-night stand.

He’s trying to run me out of town.

But between the autumn festivals, apple picking, and hard cider, things get a lot more interesting

I go from trying to avoid the small town to wondering if I can spend more than Fall in Kentbury.

After reading the first book I was eager to get back to Kentbury as I fell in love with this small town and it's residents. This read was everything I expected and I lost myself from the first page. I was excited to get to know Bishop and I absolutely loved his first meeting with McKay. I could not control my laughter at there conversations and Bishop's embarassment. It was easy to love them both and my heart ached for McKay, she deserved a better family. What I loved the most was no one gave up on there life to stay together. It's a fun read which ended too soon. Hopefully, it's Damien's book next and then the rest of Kentbury.

It's back to Kentbury for Fall, and Claudia Burgoa paints a vivid picture of this small town and its quirky citizens. This one covers a variety of tropes, including enemies to lovers. The fire between McKay and Bishop builds until they cross that thin line between love and hate. Then, the chemistry is off the charts. Given that Fall in Kentbury is a novella, I'll leave the rest for you to discover on your own. The book is easily read in an afternoon or evening.

I loved this enemies to lovers romance! Bishop and McKay have a chance meeting in Boston and after too many drinks, Bishop helps McKay get home safely. McKay wakes up to start her journey to Kentbury to find her grandmother and then to travel the world. Bishop loves his life in Kentbury and is very protective of it and all the close knit residents. I fell hard for Bishop and McKay, their chemistry was electric, and I cheered for their HEA. I was completely captivated and couldn't put it down!
