This is my first book about JFK and found it to be a great read about a very sad event. Clint Hill describes the scenarios which he encounters in a very lucid manner which helps to set the scene. The photography contained in the book along with the descriptions of them are excellent. A very well written book.

Clint Hill has a wonderful way with words. He describes the scenes, people, and events with such class that it allows the reader to paint a clear picture of each event. This is a great read!!

Finally a birds eye view on what happened on that dark day in 1963. I was 5 and just started Kindergarten. I went to a friends house who told me about it. My whole sense of security was shattered when the President's Coffin returned to DC. My last sense of security was destroyed with seeing Oswald shot on live TV. It took most of my young years to regain it.

A United States Secret Service Agent from 1958 to 1975, Clint Hill was assigned to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and was in the motorcade in Dallas on November 22, 1963, when President John F.
