About this ebook

The author of the controversial bestseller Brain Trust brings his scientific expertise to the chilling true story of unexplained phenomena on Utah's Skinwalker Ranch -- and challenges us with a new vision of reality.

For more than fifty years, the bizarre events at a remote Utah ranch have ranged from the perplexing to the wholly terrifying. Vanishing and mutilated cattle. Unidentified Flying Objects. The appearance of huge, otherworldly creatures. Invisible objects emitting magnetic fields with the power to spark a cattle stampede. Flying orbs of light with dazzling maneuverability and lethal consequences. For one family, life on the Skinwalker Ranch had become a life under siege by an unknown enemy or enemies. Nothing else could explain the horrors that surrounded them -- perhaps science could.

Leading a first-class team of research scientists on a disturbing odyssey into the unknown, Colm Kelleher spent hundreds of days and nights on the Skinwalker property and experienced firsthand many of its haunting mysteries. With investigative reporter George Knapp -- the only journalist allowed to witness and document the team's work -- Kelleher chronicles in superb detail the spectacular happenings the team observed personally, and the theories of modern physics behind the phenomena. Far from the coldly detached findings one might expect, their conclusions are utterly hair-raising in their implications. Opening a door to the unseen world around us, Hunt for the Skinwalker is a clarion call to expand our vision far beyond what we know.

Protagonist rancher experiences unexplained mutilation deaths of his prized Angus cattle as well as numerous other paranormal phenomena on his beautiful new ranch. Knowing that danger is everywhere, and despite the loss of a significant part of his cattle herd, he nevertheless sends the beloved family herding dogs after a mysterious blue light. The dogs die a horrible death. Rancher and family finally move out off the haunted property, buying a new ranch inexplicably a mere 25 miles away. Before you know it, an investigative team, led by the author, occupies the original property, seeking to explore the mysterious events that continue to take place there. Terrified Protagonist rancher returns, as well, leaving his hapless family at the new farm. The team needs livestock for the investigation, since the unexplained forces seem to prey on animals rather than humans. Does Protagonist rancher go to stockyards and buy a few head of scrub cattle to expose to the mayhem endemic to the ranch? Nope, he brings his prize registered herd back to suffer further depredation and a new crop of beloved dogs to be sacrificed to scientific investigation. This is absolute horse hooey. I stopped reading at this point. NO rancher would be as cavalier as the author describes about sacrificing the valuable animals that constitute his livelihood. I can only assume that the "scientific investigation" the author claims to conduct is equally fanciful. Don't waste your money on this book.

Colm and George transports me to a place VERY view athurs venture. A Truelly mysteriously mystifying experince. This is book could of been up there with 'Mothman Prophies' but failed when they wrote in a very poor scientic aproach, with no photos with the book! The first half of the book is a 'MUST' read for paranormal and cryptozoology fans

I knew of this book when it was released, but I didn't know anything about it. Flash forward about five years and I find it sitting on the shelf of a college friend. I borrowed it and couldn't put it down! Since then, I have purchased it and have read it several times. If you're looking for a true and horrifying story, look no further. Just do yourself a favor and read it during daylight hours.
