In reviewing this book it was informative for basic knowledge of what to look for when choosing beef or dairy cattle for their respective uses. Although it was written in 1901 and published in 1902, today's standards vary, with the total amount of breeds in each respective group offer a wide variety as well. Overall, the book gives the beginner a general bone structure and way of carrying oneself to look for, as well as good health attributes so the purchase is a successful one.
