One of the most prolific and influential writers in modern comics, Marv Wolfman began his career as an artist. Realizing that his talents lay more in writing the stories than in drawing them, Wolfman soon became known for his carefully crafted, character-driven tales. Since he began writing professionally for DC Comics in December 1967, Wolfman has helped shape the heroic careers of DC ComicsÕ Green Lantern, Blackhawk and the original Teen Titans, as well as Marvel ComicsÕ Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and Nova. After co-creating THE NEW TEEN TITANS and the universe-shattering CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS with George Prez, Wolfman was intrumental in revamping the post-CRISIS Superman and developing THE NEW TEEN TITANS spin-off series VIGILANTE, DEATHSTROKE THE TERMINATOR and TEAM TITANS, and he created such characters as Blade for Marvel and NIGHT FORCE and the retooled DIAL ÒHÓ FOR HERO for DC.
