Author ID Johnson grew up in Lamar, Missouri. Her interest in the U.S. Civil War began with a visit to Wilson’s Creek battlefield as a young child. She has spent her lifetime studying this great American conflict. She holds a Bachelors in History from Central Missouri State University and a Masters in Education from Dallas Baptist University.
