Il libro, ovviamente, nasce sia sulla scorta della serie televisiva, sia seguendo l'idea originaria dello scrittore spagnolo Albert Espinosa. Anche se, va da se, Mimmo Parisi mette in atto, con grande inventiva, uno sviluppo narrativo del tutto autonomo.
