The book is interesting enough, but the main character can be quite annoying. Her inner monologs go on and on and on and on. Especially during what should be an intense fight scene, but she's off in lala land, somehow not getting thrashed, while usually daydreaming about her feelings/boys. I skip over the massive monologs because she doesn't come to any mind-blowing conclusions that are not already obvious from the rest of the story line. The book would be greatly improved if many of them were removed or massively condensed.

My favourite out of the series by far. the way Tracey incorporates a critique of the prison system *chefs kiss*. I feel like the prison could have been an entire book on its own, however beggars can't be choosers. Grace is as always very drawn out, in her head constantly, and its easy to ignore her constant worrying and skip ahead entire paragraphs to get to the next sentence of actual conversation, but good book all in all. This series is my go to brain junkfood, and I'm very excited for the last book!

Honestly, one bad thing after another in this third book, and it felt like it dragged on in a way the first two didn't. It would have been nice if there was a few more relaxed scenes with friends, or romance and steam between couples in between all the fighting
