Elena Selena is a graduate of the National School of Decorative Arts, where she trained to develop her creations on a larger scale. She was shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards in 2023. She is passionate about paper cutting and works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Through her books, she encourages children to notice the beauty of nature that is not always visible at first glance.
