About this ebook

The hotly awaited second book in the dystopian Matched trilogy

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky - taken by the Society to his certain death - only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.

Cassia's quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander - who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia's heart - change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

I enjoyed "Crossed"--there were some good moments of suspense and the love triangle between Cassia, Xander and Ky grows more tangled. I do have to say though, there were some elements of the story that were very muddled, and I didn't find them convincing enough to read closely and even try to figure out. Put the society elements from "Hunger Games" in a blender, along with 1984, and you get some weirdo elements that make up Condie's Society vs. Rising descriptions. Somewhat contrived, while also being a little too confusing to make it as streamlined as the Hunger Games trilogy. I'm still excited for the next book, and enough has kept me interested to see exactly how the story will unfold.

I really have to say especially how much I spent on these books the ending sucked so badly. It like it just totally dropped off. Worst ending ever. Could of been more suspense, action, detail. But its more of love story then survibg or dystopia type ....disappointed

Heard a lot of mixed reviews about this book, but ultimately, i enjoyed it and i plan on buying the last book. The writing is vivid and the story intriguing. Also, go team ky! Lol.
