I didn’t enjoy this quite as much as book 1 in the series, but it was still a gripping and suspenseful read, and having come to know Wyatt during ‘Dark Consequences’, it was great to get his story. Wyatt and Briella have wonderful chemistry and work hard to overcome the many issues thrown their way. I think more chapters told from the POV of the villain would have enhanced the suspense, and found the ending a little weak after the exciting climax, however this was still an enjoyable read.

"Every choice has a consequence…", such a true statement! This is an incredible story about Wyatt and Briella. It is a romantic suspense filled with action, consequences, risks, murder, danger, love and good twists and turns. It is very captivating and intriguing. It shows how blurred lines can get when the consequences may not be worth the risk in the end. I loved this story!

Wyatt is a detective in charge of the murder case of Briella's sister murder. She want to find the killer and get justice for her sister. They work together to catch the killer. This book is filled with suspense, tension, angst, twist and turns and romance. Will Wyatt catch the killer before he kill Briella and will they get their happy ending. This is absolutely a must read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
