It is a how to book, not much use for someone who has a firm grasp on the metaphysical understandings of stones and their properties. It's more like a "if I were you I would do this because it will fix the problem you're having in life" kinda book. I do however like the perspective taken on the properties of the stones, they are unique to energy muse, but only if they could be expounded on in length.
