A one-night stand between agents Jinx Hyde and Allison Carter ended when our heroine ghosted Jinx a last minute assignment forced Ali deep under cover. Fast forward to present day wherein Allison Carter has returned but with it she brings darkness danger, and isn’t about to pull Jinx into the mix. Allison has a stalker, someone who is not afraid to kill to get what he wants, and in this Allison suspects Jinx will be his next target but Jinx refuses to back down, and gets some help from an unlikely source. Four and a half stars Jinx, You’re It by Cynthia Eden is the third in her Trouble for Hire series. Jinx and Ali were colleagues of sorts. They didn’t cross any lines, except for that one, once…. Now someone is after Ali, and Jinx is having absolutely none of that… Jinx, You’re It is a fast-paced, flirty, funny action romance with two independent, capable people saving each other’s bacon and figuring out what else they could be doing together. Cynthia Eden excels at this genre, and this series just hits the spot.
