About this ebook

For thousands of years the Dúranaki have lived in relative obscurity, sheltered within their Twilight Forest on the far side of nearly impassible mountains.

Ejected from his homeland, T'vance assumes a western name and explores a world few Dúranaki ever see. He soon finds himself in the middle of a conflict that threatens not only the strange land he visits, but casts a spectre of doom even on his own homeland.

Five short stories chronicle his journeys.

So you know, I'm the author. That said, I wrote this book a few years ago and re-read it all while I was cleaning up this e-book release. I still really enjoy this book! There are five stories, centered around a dark-spirited protagonist set in a world where evil really has it in for him. The stories are told in the first-person and move at a fast pace. There are swords, sorcery (and other magic), plot twists, humor, mystery, murder, adventure, betrayal, loss, loyalty, friendship and love. Also, as you may note, Jenna likes it. And Jenna has impeccable taste.

It was a good read. Fun and cleaver. The last tale did a great job of leading into the second book.(the one I read first) several glitches in the servers left me a bit confused, but a quick settings change from flowing text to original pages and back again cleared that up. Still there were a lot of areas I would like to see expanded. Good stuff! If you devour books as I do, it sure makes for a good afternoon or two!

I really liked this book & it's not just because I fancy the writer. The stories are imaginative and full of lush descriptions and characters you can root for (and against). Even though they may come from another place, they are still very human.
