4.5 stars--DAWN is the third and final instalment in Aleatha Romig’s contemporary, adult DANGEROUS WEB erotic, romantic suspense trilogy set in the author’s SPARROWS WEB WORLDS. This is the continuing story of Reid Murray, and his wife Lorna Pierce-Murray. DAWN should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book two DARK. You do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow the current time line but once again, I recommend reading the other series in the Sparrow Webs World for back story and cohesion, as the current story line references things that have happened in the other trilogies. WARNING: Due to the graphic nature of the storyline premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers. Told from dual third person perspectives (Lorna and Reid) with one chapter from Gordon Maples, DAWN follows the search for the truth, and the struggle to stay one step ahead of the people determined to destroy them all. Believing Sparrow and his partners are the ultimate target the men quickly discover that the women they love are vulnerable to attack, and the systems that Sparrow, Mason, Patrick and Reid have put into place have been compromised leaving the women exposed. As Lorna’s brother , and her husband Reid seek revenge for the sister and woman they love, years of secrets and lies reveal betrayal and abuse at every level. With their families growing and expanding, Sparrow and his partners must step up and end the game before another move threatens the people they love. Someone from the past is determined to right a wrong, aiming at the glass tower and the Sparrow Cartel. DAWN is a strong, engrossing and intriguing story of power, control, betrayal and revenge. I absolutely love this series! Like the first two books in the series, Dawn is a very exciting, suspenseful story that's hard to put down once you started reading them. I like the twists and turns. You think you have it figured out and the author takes it in another direction. Reid and Lorna's story is one for the books and I enjoyed every minute of it. And also, the reader gets the answers and some shocking revelations too, that are neatly wrapped up by the last page. This author never disappoints when it comes to romantic suspense stories. If you enjoy great characters and a masterful blending of plots that holds your attention from beginning to end, I highly recommend that you read every book in the series.

4.5 stars I'm sad to see this entire Sparrow/Web series ending. This entire cast of characters just completed each other. Lorna and Reid find out more things about Lorna's past. The suspense in this part just makes you want to get to the end. The epilogue was a nice wrap up, but it was bittersweet. Can't wait to see what Aleatha writes next! I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

About the author

Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis. Aleatha has raised three children with her high school sweetheart and husband of nearly thirty years. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. Now, when she's not imagining mind-blowing twists and turns, she likes to spend her time a with her family and friends.
