About this ebook
When literature of dalits, workers and revolution came up in the Marathi literature, there was a striking name in it. His poems - realistic To build highways, destroy a slum and take away the poor people in it. In their usual view of the metropolis, their 'Siddharthnagar' has been created and 'Broken Maine' has been written from the intrigue of communal riots. He has not always written the poem 'rebellious', he has also inspected the inner intimate of his society. This is another feature of this collection that on the occasion of these poems, the poet has taken a closer look at his poetic journey. He has told us how he has become a poet. माणूस म्हणजे त्याचा समाज. हजारो वर्षे हा माणूस चिरेबंद व चिणलेला जगला. त्याच्या मस्तकात एक भीषण तत्त्वज्ञान होतं, बाहूंमध्ये अत्याचार अन् दमणयंत्रणा. त्याचं धड संपत्तीची असुरी लालसा अन् पाय शरणागतता व अंधकार. दीड-दोनशे वर्षांपूर्वी यंत्रानी निर्माण केलेल्या विक्रयवस्तूंचे कुलपी गोळे तटबंदीवर थडकले. अंतर्बाह्य विस्कट सुरू झाली.अंधकाराच्या पाळामुळांपर्यंत एकेक विजेचे लोळ पोचले. वरपासून खालपर्यंत सर्वदूर हत्यारं खणाणली. ठिणग्या उडू लागल्या- आजही उडतायत अन् उडतील. अजून माणूस बांधलेला आहे, अमानुष आहे. या विस्कटण्यामध्ये सांस्कृतिक वीणसुद्धा विस्कटली. धागे धागे सुटत गेले. गुंतत गेले, तुटू लागले. आणि आज गेल्या पाचदहा वर्षांत हे सगळं जमिनीतून वर उगवतंय. दलितांचं, श्रमिकांचं, क्रांतीचं साहित्य जन्माला येतंय. या कोलाहलात एक नोंदण्याजोगा आवाज दयाचा. स्पष्ट पण न एकारलेला. साध्या वस्त्रांमधला पण भरजरी माती ल्यायलेला.राजवाड्याच्या खंदकातून अन् रेल्वेच्या खडखडाटातून उमललेला आणि तारे खुडण्यासाठी शस्त्रं परजणारा.
