ZAFAR AHSAN, Ph.D., is with the Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He is also visiting associate, Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune. A member of Astronomical Society of India, Indian Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, a council member of Indian Association for General Relativity and Gravi-tation, and managing editor of The Aligarh Bulletin of Mathematics, Dr. Ahsan has published a number of research papers in prestigious national and internatio-nal journals, and has authored a book, Vector Analysis.
