About the author

Patricia J. Murphy writes for big and little people from her writer’s studio in Chicago. She has written more than 150 children’s books, with more on the way, including board books, early readers, picture books, creative nonfiction titles, chapter books, middle grade novels, as well as a growing list of scripts for children’s television.
