Kaine sets out to investigate missing task forces and encounters a new form of stealth ship using unknown tech and it is wiping out the task forces. He is lucky to escape. Is this another race or have the Empire got hold of new tech? The search for the origins of the new tech begins. As the story unfolds, the source of this new tech is uncovered and further details about the Glenatat race who they met in the first book and other races are revealed. Also the unexpected return of an old friend...

D.M.(Doug) Pruden worked for 35 years in the petroleum industry as a geophysicist. For most of his life, he has been plagued with stories banging around inside his head that demanded to be let out into the world. He currently spends his time as an empty nester in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his long-suffering wife of many years. When he isn’t writing science fiction stories, he likes to spend his time playing with his grandchildren and working on improving his golf handicap.
