Book 1 in the Stone Series and a good start to the trilogy. Alex and Krys were good together. The chemistry and attraction between them was hot. They both have secrets which always leads to obstacles in any relationship and theirs is no different. If you like FSOG and the Crossfire series, then you will like this story. It does end on a cliffhanger but that just means I get more of their story.

He's a billionaire and a Dom who is use to getting what he wants that is until Krystina comes on the scene. She is feisty, outspoken and nothing like the women he is use to but he wants her all the same. This is one hot read that will have you thinking about EL James and Fifty Shades of Grey but a word of caution, this one ends on a cliff hanger. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Krys works at a grocery store but soon hopes to put her marketing degree to work in a corporation. She meets Alex when he comes to the store to have a discussion with the managers there. She embarrasses herself by taking an epic fall. Both Alex and Krys are attracted to each other, and Alex has a proposition for her. He wants her to head his new advertising company during the day and be his plaything at night. I picked up this book, and actually the rest of the series, a book review site. The description at the book site did not make mention that this is a BDSM story. If I had known that, I would not have signed up for the review. I'm not a fan of those kinds of stories, so my review might be a little biased. To me, this book feels too derivative of the Fifty Shades novels. I also thought that both the hero and heroine lacked maturity. The interior monologue on both parts seems over-the-top for college graduates and a billionaire. Their thoughts show the immaturity more typical of teenagers gushing over a first crush. So the two combined for me—the BDSM as well as the lack of maturity—kind of killed this story for me. I have enjoyed other works by the author, like the Cadence series, but I did not enjoy this one at all.
