About this ebook

Welcome to Hathaway House. Rehab Center. Safe Haven. Second chance at life and love.

Quinton had been a patient at Hathaway House in its first year. When she finally healed enough to move on with her life, she went into law and plowed forward. However, plowing forward may not have been the best answer for her physical injuries. While visiting Stan at the center, she collapses on her way to her brother’s room, as he’s a patient here now. The collapse shows a long-term issue, now an acute problem. After talking to Dani and Shane, Quinton’s booked back into the center on a short-term basis.

Stan hurts for Quinton. She’s an old friend, and he’s watched her progress from his first year in business at Hathaway. He’d always had a crush on her but figured his window of opportunity had passed. Now with her once again as a patient, it feels like a second chance for a personal relationship, one he’s more than willing to take.

Between her brother—who’s not getting along at the center—and Quinton’s own struggles to get back on her feet, thankfully she also has Stan and other old friends around, as Quinton takes the steps necessary to put her life back on track … in all ways.

Eight years ago, when Quinton was in Hathaway House for PT to get her back in shape for life after she lost a lower leg and spleen and damaged various body parts due to an incident while on active duty, she befriended many of the people working there, including Stan, the veterinarian in the basement. Now she is back in need of some adjustment. This story is full of life, laughter, heartache, and the beginnings of romance, leading to a HEA and ending with a cliffhanger. Very highly recodmmended.

I really enjoyed reading Quinton . It's well written and the characters are just all out wonderful . Quinton is a returning patient unfortunately. But her stay may just finally move Stan the veterinarian to take the chance for a relationship be on friends with Quinton . She has to get her life back in balance and maybe with Stan everything can fall in place . I highly recommend taking the time to read . I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Although this is a fairly slow-moving book, it nevertheless brings out the importance of treating the whole person rather than just the physical ailment. Quinton has been through rehabilitation and has moved on with her life. However, her busy lifestyle is interfering with her well-being, and old war injuries are once again plaguing her, thereby creating new ones.
