I'm glad Austin and Charlotte got a second chance. For most of the book I wasn't a big fan of Austin, but he did finally redeem himself. Their story was one of a lot of love, loss, and finally forgiveness and trust. I loved Charlotte and her sweet nature. I loved that Camp Hope played a part in this story. It's my favorite place in Danae Little's world of stories. The epilogue was beautiful and really tied these two series together. This story was definitely about love and romance, but it was also about learning to trust God and I loved the different ways it played out in this story.

A sweet second chance romance with learning to trust elements. Charlotte and Austin had met her freshman year. Their mutual love of animals had helped provide a basis for their friendship that grew to be much more. But their plans were not compatible. Now eight years later she has finished her veterinary medicine studies and Austin is now winning in professional rodeo. When they meet the sparks are still there but have they changed enough that can things work out now?

Loved it! Austin and Charlotte thought their prayers were unanswered eight years ago when God was really telling them to wait—the time wasn’t right. God brings them back together in this beautiful sweet story. Both have matured and they still have things to work out but know that they can with God’s help. This inspirational story has it all, rodeo, strong family, lasting love, and trusting God through hardships. This was my first book in the series—now I have to go back and read the earlier
