About the author

Daniel R. Lockwood, PhD, is president of Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. Educated at Westmont College and Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Lockwood has worked in theological higher education since 1977. He and his wife Jani have an adult daughter, Elise.
