Andre Boroi has his own code that he lives by but he’s been gravely wounded by a master vampire and his only chance is to disappear into the gray mist of the Carpathians to wait and to hope in this remarkable paranormal romance. Once again, the Carpathians enthralled me with another sexy vampire slayer from the beginning to the end but that’s not all, the author has introduced a few new characters and Teagan has some special abilities that made her the perfect lifemate for Andre and I can’t wait to visit the Carpathians again. I love Christine Feehan and her work, but this wasn't one of my favorites. I wanted to know more about the ancients at the monestary, and wouldve liked other characters to have been present in the book, such as Mikhail or Gregory. I also found teagan repeated the same things over and over. I did like Andre's character very much and want to better understand Teagan's gift.

Tidious books like Dark Ghost have ruined the Carpathian series. The herione came off as so desperate it made reading painfull. Feehan is such an amazing writer that I feel compelled to read her work... I wish I hadn't read this one
