Set in the late 1950s, this provocative novel follows Adrianne, a Houston native who has recently arrived in Manhattan and wanders the city having indiscriminate sex with strangers. Mar ía Espinosa is the author of several books, including the novels Dying Unfinished, Incognito, and Longing, and two books of poetry, Love Feelings and Night Music. She is the recipient of the American Book Award and the PEN Josephine Miles Award for Literary Excellence. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
