Vacationing with his relatives, an affluent businessman discovers that his perceptions of beauty and tranquility of the north are mere illusions. Although fully cognizant of the evil reality within their community, none of the relatives disclose the fact that the dark shadow of the werewolf chokes the land. In his valiant efforts to purge the countryside, Buck Lanark must murder foes, friends and family members. He cannot afford the luxuries of discretion and discrimination. All who have become werewolves must die. In the course of his killing spree, Buck discovers the origins and evolution of werewolves.

Dragan Vujic is a Canadian author who resides in the southern Ontario region. He possesses a passion for the great outdoors. When he is not writing, Dragan enjoys horseback riding, hunting, fishing, swimming, playing baseball and martial arts. Prior to becoming a writer, Dragan Vujic practiced law for eight years and was subsequently involved in international commercial ventures. He has masters' degrees in arts, law and business.
