About this ebook

Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in the final installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times bestselling paranormal series--Summoned to Thirteenth Grave.

Charley Davidson, Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is pissed. She’s been kicked off the earthly plane for eternity –which is exactly the amount of time it takes to make a person stark, raving mad. But someone’s looking out for her, and she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile. Is it too much to hope for that not much has changed? Apparently it is. Bummer.

She’s missed her daughter. She’s missed Reyes. She’s missed Cookie and Garrett and Uncle Bob. But now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? And are cupcakes or coffee the best medicine for a broken heart? It all comes to a head in an epic showdown between good and evil in this final smart and hilarious novel.

*SPOILER ALERT* Its never good when the last book in a series is the shortest. As if the author has already moved on, but promised one last book. : 1) Throughout this book, Reyes keeps saying the hell dimension leaking out from the destroyed God Glass is the one he made specifically for Charley, thats why the demons can't be killed by her light. However, in book 12, we learn that she was already in a hell dimension created by him when God tricked him into making the God Glass one. 2) Ubie is suddenly the Angel Rapheal??? Nope, don't buy it. how did NONE of the supernatural beings notice? This needed more time to flesh out. 3)The storyline about her mother was useless. 4) Charley n Reyes merging to create a haven leaves so many holes. She is the grim reaper, what happens to that? Do those duties end? If so, what happens to all the departed souls who can no longer cross? 5) Reyes marks Beep in book 12, so why the need to create the haven? It would have been better to have them exiled

How can there be reviews posted here for a book that will NOT be released until Jan 15, 2019? I love this series and have pre-ordered my copy, but was astounded to see reviews. Do these folks get advanced copies?

Her writing is beyond words! The world of Charley Davidson created by Ms Jones captures more than the imagination...it captures the heart. My head was spinning in breathless circles as Charleys world became almost as real as my own. Layer by layer Ms Jones invites you into a place where love, heart break and magic come together to enchant the mind and elevate the mood. 11 out of 10 stars from me!
