Das Spinnennetz ist ein nicht zu Ende geführter Fortsetzungsroman von Joseph Roth, der vom 7. Oktober bis zum 6. November 1923 in der Wiener Arbeiter-Zeitung vorabgedruckt wurde. Die erste Buchausgabe erfolgte posthum 1967 in Köln und Berlin. Protagonist ist der aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg heimkehrende Leutnant Theodor Lohse. Im Mittelpunkt steht Leutnant Lohse, ein enttäuschter Heimkehrer aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg. In Berlin gerät er in die Umtriebe rechtsradikaler Organisationen und Geheimbünde, in die politischen Kämpfe jener Jahre zwischen Nationalsozialisten und Kommunisten, Bürgertum und Proletariat. In verschiedenen Rollen arbeitet er für eine geheime Organisation, deren Zentrale in München ist und die Verbindungen unterhält zu Ludendorff und Hitler.

Moses Joseph Roth, geboren am 2. September 1894 in Brody, Ostgalizien, Österreich-Ungarn und verstorben am 27. Mai 1939 in Paris, war ein österreichischer Schriftsteller und Journalist.
