About the author

The author has been writing poems and short stories since she was a little girl. Reading all types of books but mainly adventure, romance and suspense. Butterfly Brown was the editor and contributing writer for Hot Spots located in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Her on going weekly drama kept readers captivated. Attending a writing seminar after much encouragement, and 3 years later, her first book was born, She enjoys reading crocheting and watching her grandson grow. She was born and raised in Shelby NC but has lived in the DC Maryland area most of her life. There around her family and friends is where she is encouraged and inspired.
