I have no idea if the author is a Christian, but in his books I saw many rich parallels and analogies to the spiritual realities revealed throughout holy scripture. I also found myself caring for the characters. One character, Vallesa, was (to me) in quite unique straights, brilliantly described throughout. Also, her character development was compelling and inspiring. Thank you, David! :)

I also played the interactive novel. This man is a treasure. These tomes at their brightest or darkest are master pieces painting the truth of humanity as well as anything ever written. I will need time to meditate and process much of what I experienced... it was like living many lifetimes at once... it is creative fire like this that guides souls to this plane. Terrible and beautiful at the same time. Divinely inspired. If the universe has guided you here you will undoubtedly be more human after this experience.

This series was definitely an emotional roller coaster for me. Once I would start reading I couldn't stop reading. I loved the Paladins series. I was very upset with the ending of book 4. Not because I didn't like it but because I wanted more and the ending went in a direction I was hoping it wouldn't go to. I hope one day there can be a way Jerico and Darius can continue on with another series. Hopefully a longer series at that. But for now I'm gonna read the half orc series since from what I understand that's basically a continuation from the paladin series.
