this book was an absolute surprise. although it is part of an existing genre of reimagining in the first person Greek legends and mythology, and my own familiarity with the latter and Homer, I quickly became engrossed in this story. until the very last word, Odysseus' reason and logic makes this book a delightful and engrossing tale.
