This book is fantastic. In my opinion the best in the Vanguard series so far. You can really tell when David Mack is the one behind the writing. Just a completely different experience. From beginning to end the book is very well done. I can't say there any moments in this book where I found myself being bored with the storyline and that's saying a lot.

David and he ends up getting killed
