I really like the author David McCullough and I love all his books lso this one. BUT should I have known that this book is literally covering only 1776 I would never ever have bought it . What a disappointment that it suddenly ends.

The realities of history - glad he tells all sides of the war. Was cool to learn in depth.

First 80 or so pages are not very engaging.

David McCullough (1933–2022) twice received the Pulitzer Prize, for Truman and John Adams, and twice received the National Book Award, for The Path Between the Seas and Mornings on Horseback.
