About this ebook

Meet Detective Superintendent Roy Grace on his unforgettable first major case in Dead Simple, by award winning crime author Peter James.

It was meant to be a harmless stag-night prank. But a few hours later, the groom has disappeared and his friends are dead.

With only three days to the wedding, Roy Grace is contacted by the man’s distraught fiancée to unearth what happened on that fateful night.

The one man who ought to know of the groom’s whereabouts is saying nothing. But then he has a lot more to gain than anyone realizes, for one man’s disaster is another man’s fortune . . .

Although the Roy Grace novels can be read in any order, Dead Simple is the first thrilling title in the bestselling series. Enjoy more of the Brighton detective’s investigations with Looking Good Dead and Not Dead Enough.

Now a major BRITBOX series, Grace, starring John Simm.

English: as usual, I picked up a book from unknown author to me and started to read in hope of finding another great mystery/crime/thriller novel and this time I was lucky too. I really liked the plot and the detective works explained throughout the book. it was actually a mixture of crime, abduction and betrayal that has a little bit taste of supernatural at the end. despite that I don't like to read anything about supernatural, this part of the book was very short and didn't affect the whole story, so it can be easily ignored. I didn't find any irrelative sub-plot inside the book and all of the things were about the main plot which was well-written and organized. I liked the first book in the author's Roy Grace series and I will read more in the future; he is among my favorite authors list now. Türkçe: Bu kitap yazarin Roy Grace serisi'nde olan ilk kitabiydi. gercekten cok begendim. aslinda kitabin icinde cinayet, ihanet ve para uzerinde oynanan buyuk ve gizli bir oyun anlatiliyor. roman ilginc bir sekilde ilerliyor ve ortada kalmis karanlik olan hic bir sey yok. olaylar tam gercek olsada, kitabin ortasinda ve sonunda sadece bir kac sayfa dogaustu seylerden bahsediliyor ki asil romani etkilemediginden goz ardi edilebilir. kitabin Türkçe'sini bulamadigimdan Inglizce'sini buldum ve okudum. keske boyle kitaplarin Türkçe'sini bulabilsek. eger cinayet, gizem ve heyecan seviyorsaniz, Peter James kitaplarini rahatlikla tavsiye edebilirim.

This is the first Peter James book I have read and will definitely not be the last. Really well written story that had me gripped from start to finish. A real page turner that I could not put down, looking forward to reading another in the series :)

What a brilliant book. First I have read by Peter James and look forward to reading more. Twists and turns that aren't obvious. It does stray a little in parts but it keeps your attention well. Definitely recommend it.
